Freehold's 10th Anniversary Gala

Tens, tens, tens across the board!!

It was only just yesterday when Freehold was formed to create the UK’s leading LGBT+ network for professionals in the real estate sector.

Well, not yesterday – but a decade ago! Since launching in 2011, we have grown into a network of over 1000 individuals across the U.K..

What a journey it has been and what a better time than now to celebrate the achievements of our network and its fabulous people with a grand party to raise a proper glass to our community.

STIRRED OR SHAKEN?

As it feels like a decade ago in the days of yore since we were able to lawfully enchant ourselves with a large indoor soiree – truth be told, we have patiently been waiting for an evening of glitz, glam and celebration, reunited under one glittered roof. This will be an evening of camaraderie and bonafide Freehold networking with music and entertainment, and a few surprises throughout the night to keep you on your toes and heels as we eat, drink and dance in a most merriment of occasions.

THE PLACE

St. Luke’s is a building steeped in history and unique story.  Designed by Nicholas Hawksmoor & John James for a budget of £10,000 the church was consecrated in 1733.

Repairs started in 1734 and over the years some serious repairs were needed until in the summer of 1959 there was a calamitous case of subsidence. Columns left the roof; the building was declared unsafe and it was abandoned. It stayed that way for 40 years.

Restoration started in 2000 and it is now the home to the LSO. With a nod to its heritage and past while looking forward, its central location with and eastern tilt on the map, it is the perfect place for us to celebrate.
