What LGBTQ+ history can teach us in modern times?

As part of LGBTQ+ History month, Savills was honoured to have hosted a webinar with human rights and LGBTQ+ campaigner Peter Tatchell. Peter was instrumental in organising Britain’s first Gay Pride march in 1972, and throughout the decades, he has continually fought against anti-gay laws in the UK and around the world. Having lived through the discrimination faced by LGBTQ+ people, Peter shared a very moving account of his thoughts and experiences and what LGBT history can teach us in modern times. Although great progress has been made to expanded rights for LGBTQ+ people, Peter continues to campaign for greater equality.
